GL Sequential Number using Profile Options 14 Years, 11 Months ago

Hi, I am viewing the videos for Setting Profile Option for Sequential Numbering in GL. After the initial error during creating new journal. I logged in as System Administrator and I am able to put a value from the picklist "Always used, partially used, Never used" against Profile Option 'Sequential Numbering" but cannot save it under 'Site' as shown in the video. The message I get is 'Updates to profile Options can only be made at User Level in Solution Beacon"

Setups in Solution beacon only take effect at user level not at sight level, hence if you using solution beacon, all your setups will only affect you , you cannot do a sight level setup.

Headsup lakshmanang, Solution Beacons offers a very restricted environment for obvious reasons (one system is shared by many users). You will be hitting many similar bumps along the way. Keep your headlights on.
