I defined the organization and budget versions. defined ranges for account for comp1. but when i m clcking in details section to select, it is not displaying the account. is it necessary that account should be availabe in combination screen or not?

Only existing account combinations will appear on Enter Budget Amount screen. You can create a new combination using GL Accounts screen. Then you should run Maintain Budget Organization program by clicking on "Maintain" button on Organization screen. Then this combination will start appearing on Enter Budget amount screen. Alternative you can use Budget Wizard (Excel interface) to enter budget amounts. In that case you do not have to create combinations in advance.
