I enabled the Mixed journal profile option, then I enter the account 1000 for Unit of measure, now while i m posting the attached journal, it is not being posted. error on out put file is :Unbalanced intercompany journal entry

The reason you are getting this error is because your journal is not balanced by the balancing segment. That is the whole point of balancing segment. The journals and the book as a whole must be balanced by the balancing segment.
* All debits and credits must be equal in the journal as a whole.
* All debits and credits must be equal in the journal for each balancing segment.

Example of a Balanced Journal:
------------------------------
DB 01-1000-00 $100
CR 01-1000-00 $100

Example of an Un-balanced Journal:
----------------------------------
DB 01-1000-00 $100
CR 02-1000-00 $100

Actual and mixed journals must be balanced.
Budget and stats journals do not have to be balanced.

If intercompany rules are setup then Oracle will balance the unbalanced journal automatically by creating intercompany lines.
