Assets coming from Projects(CIP) 14 Years, 1 Month ago  
We said that one way of adding Assets is through Projects ( CIP)/ Projects Module.
So, what are the basic setups I have to do?

I have not covered Oracle Projects in the training yet.
Broadly this is what you do.
First you configure your Projects module.
Using capital projects, you define capital assets.
You capture construction-in-process (CIP) and expense costs for the assets.
When you are ready to place assets in service, you can generate asset lines from the CIP costs.
You send asset lines to Oracle Assets for posting as fixed assets.
