data access set 15 Years ago  
I am having some issues accessing the site at this moment --> i don't know if its a problem with mynetwork

I'd really appreciate if you can please provide some advice on DAta access set

i have a Primary ledger and secondary ledger - with 2 different Chart of accounts

i have a mapping created between both COAS

now when i am running create accounting in AP .. i am getting warning and the message i am gettingis that data access set that i have does not acces to secondary ledger

now the data access set i have has my primary ledger and reporting ledger

i cannot have this secondary ledger add to that accesset because its diffrent coa

please advice asto how cani now have myaccountingentries interfaced to secondary ledger

When you attach a subledger level secondary ledger to your primary ledger, then "create accounting" program not only creates accounting in primary ledger but also creates them in secondary ledger.

If the profile option "sla: enable data access security" is set to yes, then you must have access to the secondary ledger through the data access set attached your responsibility, otherwise create accounting program will give you error.

You can set "sla: enable data access security" to no. That way you only need access to the primary ledger. The create accounting program will still create accounting entries automatically in your secondary ledger.
By default this profile option is set to no. Looks like in your system it is set to yes by your implementation team.
