My understanding is - banks are now centralized in R12, meaning, bank accounts setup can only done in CE but mark bank accounts usage flag which will enable respective modules to use that bank account. However, I noticed, Treasury can also setup bank accounts using counterparty profile form > Settlement Account. This bank account record is created in XTR_BANK_ACCOUNTS but not in CE_BANK_ACCOUNTS. I just fail to understand why we have a separate bank account with in treasury and how it is different from what is setup through CE by flagging as treasury usage.
