linux install 15 Years, 5 Months ago  
while trying to get to disc 2 of the ISO file i get a "failed to connect device to remote, remote device disconnected: a connection error occured" and i cant continue.

To me it looks like your virtual CD ROM is disconnected. Can you access your CD ROM from another shell? Go to your VM console and try to remount it and see if that fixes the problem.
