Could you please tell me if I can follow the same steps to install ebs 12 on windows 7 64 bit ? May i have some problem w the drivers ? thank you

Yes you can follow the same steps on Windows 7. Drivers will not cause issue because you will be installing Oracle Applications on Linux. Linux will be installed on Virtual Machine and Virtual Machine Server would be installed on Windows 7. The installation of VM Server is pretty much the same on all Windows flavors.

You are correct. I have R12.1.1 installed and working on Windows 7 64 bit (laptop).
Also works on Vista - 64 bit.
