Realized Gain/Loss Account 10 Years, 4 Months ago
Hello Hasan,
I've watched your videos on AP and AR and have a very simple question.
.
Is the Realized Gain/Loss account in Payables Options screen the SAME as the Realized Gain/Loss account in Receivables System Options screen ?

.
Thank-you
Charlie

Financial Options are shared among financial modules, Payables Options are for Payables module only.

Hello Hasan,
I think I might not have explained myself. SORRY
.
Should the GL Account specified for the Realized Gain/Loss (ie. 01.4500.00.00) be the same in both Payables Options screen and the Receivables System Options screen ?
.
Thank-you

Depends on your business requirements if its needs to be tracked differently or not. Technically it could be different. But usually it is kept as same.
