Sometimes, you will need to give time for the database and application services to fully load before to start log in to the Oracle EBS through a browser. I give 20 minutes to my system to load the services and listener before I try to launch the applications from a web browser, even with an extra 300GB HD, 3GB RAM, 1.9GHZ CPU Dual Core.
---
Try the above first, if it doesn't fix the problem, them I would provide other possible solutions to overcome the problem.

I forgot to mention that you should keep one eye on the status bar, as you will see an "indicator" telling you that the "page loading" is in progress. The indicator's color would GREEN! If it takes too long to load, then it would fail.

Your IP address of your guest machine (Linux environment) may not be static (meaning it is dynamically changing). Issue the following command on the terminal window to check if the IP address has changed or not. If it has changed, copy it to your host file as you have done before, logging in as an administrator.
----
Try that and let see. Still, remember to give time to the services to properly load before attempting to log in through your browser.

Hasan has mentioned it in the "03 - Oracle E-Business Suite Installation - INST". If you have once logged in to the applications, as you said, the this means you have already issued this command.
Here is by the way, here is the command: /sbin/ifconfig
---
Good luck!

Go to your network configuration and enter the original IP as static:
/etc/sysconfig/network (do this as root)
Verify the IP again (it should show original IP):
/sbin/ifconfig
Restart services.
Now see if http://linux.server:8000 is working from host.
If not then try calling the login page using the IP address directly
http://192.168.1.10:8000 (replace this IP with your IP).
If the page is coming up now, then it means your Windows host file has an issue.
If the page is showing "not found" error then trying pining your guest IP from host.
Start->cmd->ping 192.168.1.10
If you are able to ping then your services are not coming up properly. (restart services, take a look at logs of failed services)
If you are unable to ping then you have network issue on Linux. (change the MAC address of virtual machine).

Thanks for all your support.
I make ip static as per your bellow massage
"
It is best to make your IP static as oppose to dynamic.
su root
<password>
/usr/sbin/system-config-network
Lets say if your router is located at 192.168.1.1 then you enter this setting:
IP ADDRESS: 192.168.1.xx (Replace xx with the same number that exists at the time of installation).
MASK: 255.255.255.0
GATEWAY: 192.168.1.1
"
now it is working
thanks a lot all of you
