In the process of installing Oracle Enterprise Linux but got the following messages: "Your CPU does not support long mode. Use a 32bit distribution." I need your help to get this done.

Looks like you are trying to install 64 bit linux on 32 bit host system. If that is the case then please download and install 32 bit linux.

Anyone can tell me what is happening here. I am trying to install Linux using virtual machine. When I click on "Add" on button the only highlighted button I can see is "Hard" and "Dvd" button is grayed out.
What am I doing incorrect here.
Appreicate anyone's help!!!

These are the files dowloaded for Linux. Are they 32 bit or 64 bit:-
Enterprise-R4-UB-i386 disc1

When move files from Virtual Machine files per your video, do we need to make a sub-folder within virtual machine file as "Linux" and copy all the CD folders to it or create under root directory????

Hasan, can you please let me know why I am grayed out from DVD/CDrom option when I am trying to install Linux 32 bit on my machine?????

This is Hyder. Please let me know that when you ask to click Development Tool Linux packages, I found that there were other items checked too. Do we leave them as is or turned them off by unclicking?
