Sorry, this is a manual work that you will have to do it. Go to the zip files that you have downloaded and open them one by one on Windows without unzipping them. Try to locate the zip file that corresponds to these folders. Either you will find out that you have not downloaded those zip files or for some other reason they are not making their way to the stage. There is no easy button for this. Bottom line is that there is a hole in your stage and that needs to be filled up before proceeding further.

Re:Installation of Oracle E Business Suite 11 Years, 3 Months ago
Hi resolved the error by going to Oracle Website and through the unzip command, tested all files and found there were 2 files that were corrupted. Re-downloaded the files and was able to install Oracle. However in the Post Install checks, got errors where HTTP, Help Page, Virtual Directory, Login Page & JSP had the red ticks. Got RW-50015 Errors saying Service might not have been started on the port. Please check the service and hit the retry button. Trying to find resolution on previous posts in the forum and also on the net...Pl help

Found posts on the forum with the same error that I have and did all that you have told to do in those posts. In fact , finished the steps of stopping services, scaling down Oracle , starting services, disabled XSS filter in Explorer 8, configured windows i.e. edited host file, disabled Linux Firewall! After all this, i hit the retry button but its not happening! Same errors are repeating!. md5sum was also ok.
The posts that I referred to are http://handsonerp.com/forum.html?func=view&id=2521&catid=2#2521 & http://handsonerp.com/forum.html?func=view&id=839&catid=2#839.

Error message is the same as displayed. Did the action you have suggested in the 2nd post .

Usually these errors occur for one of the two reasons.
1) missing or corrupt files
2) missing Linux packages
If you are sure that checksum is not showing any errors then please verify if you have installed the two Linux packages as per videos. Otherwise Apache server would not start if one of them is missing.

Hi Hasan ,

Had installed both the packages. Oracle got successfully installed. Could connect to Oracle on Linux but have not been able to connect to Oracle on IE8 or Mozilla Firefox. Have made the host entry in the Windows Host file i.e. 192.168.1.100 linux.server, Have disabled XSS Filter in IE under Tools - Security Options - Internet - Custom Level, Have disabled XSS filter under Tools - Security Options - Intranet - Custom level

Have blocked Firewall in linux yet it is not connecting...

Saw related queries on handsonerp where all the above were suggested as solutions. Have done em all.

Please suggest

First of all are you using a router or is your computer directly connected to the internet? If you are not using the router then you must change the network type of the virtual machine.
http://handsonerp.com/oracle-financials-tutorials/76-03-oracle-e-business-suite-installation-inst/6334-configuring-virtual-machine-network.html

If this does not apply to you then:

1- Find out the ip address of your linux machine by issuing ifconfig command.
2- Ping the linux machine from Windows by using ping command.
Please post the results of the above two.
The output will dicdate if the problem is in the network of the settings elsewhere.
Thanks

Hi Hasan,

Thanks for the solution! Am accessing net directly but had chosen Bridged Adapter but changed it to Host only after viewing the video again!

Finally after a month's of efforts and numerous mistakes, am able to access Oracle .

Just 1 suggestion - If you include the part of disabling XSS Filter on IE 8 & above, it will help users. Its there on your forum but if its part of the video, its even better!

Thanks!
